Why can’t I just host myself without?

You can. Hosting an online course independently is not expensive, nor is it very complex. The entire process can be done under $1000 and no more than $200 on a monthly basis. Very little Internet knowledge is required today to accomplish this on your own.
The services offered by OFT are FREE to Flight Schools who want to host a course. Hosting an online course doesn’t mean that you are making many sales.

What about students outside of my school?

Those that have already published online courses can tell you that it takes more than a webpage to get people to recognise the value of your lessons (actually, they probably wouldn’t admit to that).
Here is probably the most important feature that OFT can offer you: worldwide presence. Our primary efforts are focused on SELLING your COURSE. When unfamiliar with Internet Marketing, it’s difficult to grasp the enormous size of the OFT market. Now having students from dozens of countries, your course is available to the entire planet. It is in our interest to make your course a success.

How quickly can I get started?

Having a course available doesn’t mean that it’s ready to publish online. Many of the courses are offered for others to use and modify as needed. This can make an entire course look like your own without having to start from scratch, free of charge.
